- LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT is a self-adhesive sealing plate made of soft, skin-coloured medical silicone with an integrated 22 mm connector (KOMBI)
- Particularly skin-friendly due to the material used, so the skin around the tracheostoma is less irritated
- Used to align the skin level of an irregular tracheostoma that is situated below the skin level
- Due to the integrated 22 mm connector (KOMBI) a suitable HME filter/artificial nose can be inserted directly into the PAD without any problems and without a base plate
- Due to its material properties and ergonomic shape, the LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT adapts to the skin around the tracheostoma
- The plano-convex shape of the LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT ensures high quality sealing, that makes voice expression easier
- In addition to reduced leakage of secretion, the lateral flow of breathing air can also be minimised
- An adhesive for fixing is not necessary, but if an increased adhesive strength is required (e.g. at high tempering pressure), FAHL® Silicone Glue (REF 29810) can be used additionally
LARYVOX® Connect for base plates allows the attachment of special devices with a standard 15 mm connector to a base plate or a KOMBI tracheostomy tube (22 mm combi-adapter).
This enables the use of, for example, heat and moisture exchangers, so-called "artificial noses", without having to wear a tracheostomy tube with a 15 mm connector.
