- Used for successive expansion of the shunt canal or fistula canal while changing the voice prosthesis
- Prevents leakage and closure of the shunt channel or fistula channel when the shunt valve is removed
- The Blom-Singer® Puncture Dilator Tracheoesophageal is available in two sizes:
Size 18 Fr. is suitable for all 16 Fr. shunt valves
Size 22 Fr. is suitable for all 20 Fr. shunt valves
The Blom-Singer® Tracheoesophageal Puncture Dilator is a tracheoesophageal puncture dilator for a straightforward change of voice prosthesis. The fixed conical silicone stent is used for successive dilatation of the shunt canal in the context of a voice prosthesis change when using 16- or 20-Fr. voice prostheses.
