- Soft, flexible neck-flange with key tube identification data clearly marked
- With rotating 15 mm connector (VARIO) to buffer torque and tension caused by tractive forces from oxygen equipment
- The high pressure cuff (CUFF) is not preformed and is close against the tube in the relaxed state, allowing easy and atraumatic insertion of the cannula
- Rounded cannula tip to prevent irritation of the mucosa in the trachea
- The valve of the control balloon is colour-coded and varies depending on the cannula size (see table below)
The TRACHEOTEC® SILC VARIO CUFF tracheostomy tube with high-pressure cuff is made of medical-grade silicone, which offers extremely comfortable properties. By inflating the cuff, the cannula can be sealed against the tracheal wall inside the tracheostoma in a targeted and controlled manner. Aspiration of secretion fluid running along the side of the tracheostomy tube is also largely prevented.
An insertion aid (obturator) is included in the scope of delivery which facilitates the use of the tracheostomy tube.
Set includes broad and adjustable tube holder, obturator and product ID card.
